I originally developed this program due to a need within my own family. I had been chronically constipated my whole life, my 3 year old daughter (now 11) was experiencing behavioral problems, staying sick all of the time and becoming constipated. Her dad was experiencing extremely low energy levels and had a very difficult time focusing at work. I decided to do a 3 week test with our food to see if I could see a correlation. We all experienced major improvement in just 3 days.
My bowel situation improved. My daughter's runny nose dried up and her teachers noticed changes in her behavior. Both of our immune systems improved drastically. Matt's mental fog cleared. He had more energy and clarity than ever before. His focus and productivity at work improved.
We were all delighted and amazed with our results so we found a way to incorporate this eating style into our daily lives. The longer we did it, the more improvement we experienced and the easier it became.
I began sharing this system with my clients and they experienced similar results.
I've had numerous people tell me that they had more energy and mental clarity in only 3 days! They said it felt like a cloud had been hanging over them that they were unaware of.

What I've found is that I can tell people all day long about how to eat and what will help but once you EXPERIENCE this feeling for yourself, you WANT to keep going. The reason I chose 3 weeks is that it is short enough that people will do it. You can commit to anything for 3 weeks. PLUS, it's long enough to create a contrast. When you eliminate certain foods for 3 weeks, you will notice a difference when/if you decide to reintroduce those foods.

YES. People love the recipes on the Energizes program. The rule for all of my recipes are that they have to be: FAST, EASY, DELICIOUS, KID FRIENDLY. The program is basically a compilation of all of our favorite recipes. Plus, I have picked meals that many people are used to eating and tweaked the ingredients to whole food ingredients.

I am allergic to eggs. Is this program for me?
Absolutely! There are a few recipes that have eggs for muffins and banana bread but you can substitute ground flax seed for egg in many recipes. You are probably already familiar with that but I can explain how if not. There would be 2-3 recipes you wouldn't be able to do but that leaves A LOT of great tasting recipes to choose from! I'm a vegetarian. Is this program for me?
I've had many vegetarians take the program and love it. Most all of the recipes can sub veggies for meat. Plus, there are many vegetarian options as is.

I joined Jenny Boice's ENERGIZE program with a little hesitancy. Because of several gastro-intestinal problems, I was not previously receiving the needed nutrients my body needed for optimum performance. During my first pregnancy, and for about a year afterward, I gained A LOT of unwanted weight. Eventually, I decided to consult my friend and wellness champion Jenny Boice. She laid out an eating plan for me which focused on eating fresh, organic "living" foods, consisting mostly of meat, vegetables, fruit, nuts, seeds and eggs. It was VERY hard at first...but I started seeing results, which motivated me to continue. At about the four month mark, I really started loosing the weight, and so this way of eating stuck with me. After the birth of my second daughter, I decided to participate in the ENERGIZE program. As I had already eliminated many of these foods, this was MUCH easier for me than before. My husbands cholesterol count had dropped 50%. We don't feel deprived, hungry or that we are on a diet. My clothes are big, we look and feel great.
Twenty one years ago, I was diagnosed with systemic lupus. I was on massive doses of steroids which saved my life but I ended up gaining 40 pounds in less than two weeks. I literally blew up! I was taken off of the steroids two years later. Although the swelling went down, I couldn't seem to drop the extra pounds. I would try different diets, lose 5 or 10 lbs and then it would slowly creep back. The other residual issue from being on large doses of steroids for that long was my gut. I was doing a constant balancing act with my digestive system and remained fat to boot.
I decided to do Jenny's Energize program in the spring of 2015. During the initial three weeks, I lost 9 lbs and my husband lost 12. Jenny had mentioned that weight loss was a secondary benefit but after almost 20 years of fighting steroid weight, I really wasn't counting on much. That was a nice bonus. Three months later, I have now lost 17 lbs and my husband has lost 18 lbs. My husband's cholesterol was in the danger zone so his doctor wanted to put him on cholesterol medication. We asked to try the diet first. On his follow up exam, his excess cholesterol count had dropped 50%! My husband's doctor told him, "Whatever you are doing, just keep doing it."
We don't feel deprived, hungry (in fact, we are both wanting to eat less), or like we are on a diet. The craving for sweets has practically disappeared. If a craving does sneak up, then I make a batch of pumpkin pucks (or another treat from the menu) and life is good.
I no longer manage my gut. I Just eat fermented vegetables and follow the Energize protocol. That is such freedom! It's great fun to have my clothes fit better and even be too big. If I really want a cheeseburger, for example, I would go have one. (after the program) I would find myself picking off the bread just because it doesn't taste good. I also find that I want to go back on the program just because I feel better.
I totally recommend Jenny's program. There was a learning curve in the beginning for me. Jenny is there to support you as your body adapts to the changes. Thank you Jenny for your diligence in developing this program and the support you provided along the way. I never would have gotten this far on my own. It gives us great peace of mind knowing that our gut is healthy and my husband's cholesterol is getting under control. To look good too, well, who could ask for more?

Easy to follow. I was able to get my family on board.
I loved the program, and just found it so easy to follow. It was what I needed to regain my confidence and control over what I was eating and doing! I was able to get my family mostly on board, but added a few grains etc. for them. However, we traveled and I was able to really follow what the program outlined the whole time, except for Thanksgiving & my sister in laws milky way rice krispy treats!!! Even so, on Thanksgiving I made a cauliflower mashed potato and some really yummy sweet potatoes which I consider a success.
I am finding that I am able to now really focus on me, and not be so disorganized with my food intake and am slowly adding a few items back, but not many!
