1. Know Your Bottom Line - Like I said yesterday, clarity is key. So many people avoid getting clear on their finances because they are scared to know where they stand. 2. Seal Your Leaks - It's amazing how much money you can reclaim when you discover where your leaks are. It's hard to fill a cup that has a hole in it! Seal your leaks and you will attract and keep more money.
3. Shift Your Mindset - Instead of saying "I can't afford it" say "How can I afford it?" Feel the difference? This simple little tweak takes you from powerlessness to expansion.

Here's how my client Beth shifted her story.
When Beth and I started working together, she was in way over her head financially. She wanted to work with me but wasn't sure how she would get the money. I encouraged her to commit to the coaching process and that the money would show up.
Your commitment determines your outcomes. When you pay a down payment on a vacation, you will do whatever it takes to get there, right? It's the same thing when you commit to anything. When you commit yourself, you do whatever it takes to fulfill the commitment and the Universe/God/Spirit also supports your commitment. Commitments are very powerful!
She decided to trust in herself and the process.
We sat down and outlined her financial situation. We found where she was leaking money. We were able to recoup over $100 per month from this one process alone. That may not sound like a lot but when things are tight, $100 per month is a big deal. Especially, when you are trying to create some wiggle room.
We outlined a plan where she could shift some things around, sell unnecessary items, reduce other expenses and create even more wiggle room.
The more space we created in her finances, the more space she felt in her life in general. Money is just energy. I love working with money because it's a physical representation of how we are using our energy in other areas of our lives as well.

So the more we cleared away, the more we organized, the more we implemented systems that supported her financially, the more she felt empowered in her finances as well as in the rest of her life! Before, she had always relied on other people to manage her finances which left her feeling very dependent and vulnerable. Now she is taking charge.
Sometimes, your money struggles cover up other issues you don't want to see. If all of your focus is on struggling with money then you don't have to pay attention to your heart's desire. You don't have to step up and put yourself out there - or whatever it may be for you.
The more clarity we created in her finances, the more clarity she had in general.
She began clearing up other situations and relationships in her life. Taking charge of her finances opened up all sorts of doors for her.
She went from depending on others to creating a life for herself on her own terms.
Good thing she trusted herself enough to start the process! Otherwise, she would still be sitting there in the same situation day in and day out - wishing something would change - feeling powerless to change. I'm sorry but shifts like this are invaluable!

The reason change is so scary is because we lose control. One way to ground yourself in change is to create order with the things that we can control. Get organized!
Walk around your house. What feels overwhelming to you? Do you have papers stacked up that need to be gone through? A stack of bills that need your attention? Do you need to go through your clothes? Swap closets? Organize your spare room?
I had three stacks of papers in my office that needed a home. I created file folders for all of my miscellaneous papers. This one simple process shifted me big time. I could suddenly see things I hadn’t seen before. I have more energy and focus for my work again. Cleaning and clearing can really help restore order in your mind which opens the door for clarity.
What needs to go? Like I said yesterday, Fall is the time of simplifying. What can you get rid of that will lighten your load? Clearing out what you no longer need creates more space in your life. Start thinking in terms of clearing away excess both in your environment and your life.
I am selling some items we’ve outgrown, taking others to goodwill and preparing for junk pickup. It feels great to create new space in my home. It’s amazing how these little things affect us emotionally too! Clearing space decreases any feeling of overwhelm for sure.
What can you organize in your life? Take a look at your daily rhythms. Can you make any changes that will free up more time and energy? What can you let go of or redefine? How can you organize your day so you feel more in alignment with who you are and what you really want to accomplish?
I sat down and outlined some projects that are important to me. I redefined my schedule to give me time to work on each thing I want to accomplish. Working on something for a short amount of time each day will eventually lead to completion!
Go back to the basics. Let the little things restore order in your world. What can you organize today?

We are going through some pretty intense times right now. Nearly everyone I know is going through some sort of major change. Change can be unsettling. Even positive changes are often scary. Even though we are asking for change in our lives, our tendency is to cling to what we know. Especially when so many things in your life are changing. It can feel like the rug is getting pulled out from under you.
Fall is the time of harvest but it’s also a time for stripping away the excess and simplifying our lives before going into the cold, darker cycle of winter. We will need more energy reserves to sustain ourselves in the winter. Winter is a more internal time. It’s a time for going within and reflecting. This internal time is necessary to bring forth the new burst of life in the spring.
Many of us already know this but it’s still easy to get caught up in the feelings of loss or fear when you see things in your life slipping away.
The key here is trust! Take a step back from what’s in front of your face and view the overall picture of your life. It’s hard to see clearly when you are holding something up to your nose. This is often the perspective from which we view our lives. When you feel like your world is falling apart, take a step back to gain a larger perspective.
What have you been asking for in your life? When you ask for something from your heart of hearts, the Universe (God, Spirit) will start working to bring this change into your life. But often, other things have to change first. You may not have room in your life for what you are asking for. You may not be able to get from there from here so you start experiencing a series of changes to direct you on your new path.
When this change starts happening, you freak out and think the worse. It is human nature to fear change. We asked for more in our lives, not less. But sometimes we have to let go of something in order for something new to emerge.
Here are three tips to help you ride the waves of change in your life:

I know how frustrating it can be to struggle for years with a health concern. You try this, you try that. You go see this person, maybe this new thing will help. You turn yourself inside out looking for answers but still nothing.
I have been working to heal my gut for over 15 years. Of course when I started there wasn't a lot of information out there on this topic. This was before anyone had even heard the word gluten or food sensitivity.
I had been chronically constipated ever since I could remember. In my early 20s I began working with a GI doctor and was soooo happy to find a product called Miralax, which is a daily laxative. It's over the counter now. It got things moving for me and I was happy. As time went on though, things started slowing down again and I started bloating after meals.
Every time I went back to the doctor, they upped my dosage and wanted to add on more and more medications. The doctors said I would be on this medication for the rest of my life. It was then that I started questioning. Why am I so constipated and bloated? How can I heal my body? The doctors didn't have the answers to these questions so I started my path into alternative healing.
I began trying different ways of eating, fasting, cleansing, juicing. I have eaten nearly every diet out there. Some helped for a short time and others made things worse. Some I just flat out wasn't able to maintain (like eating raw). I went from this healing modality to that one. I tried everything I could get my hands on.

Are you listening to yourself? What do you hear yourself repeating over and over again? Pay attention. Is there something you say repeatedly to someone in your life? If the answer is yes, that message is for you!
Relationships are these fabulous mirrors. We create relationships externally that reflect the relationships we have with ourselves. We teach others how to treat us. People treat us the way we believe they will treat us. Someone may see you one way in the beginning but over time, you will convince them of your belief you have of yourself and eventually they will start treating you the way you “thought” they would. Our relationships are our greatest teachers.
This is a great example of what I mean. I had been telling my daughter for weeks “I don’t want to be talked to like that.” “I don’t like that tone.” Yet it just kept going. I felt like she was complaining A LOT. It always seemed to happen when she didn’t get her way. Which is typical for a 7 year old but this was overkill. It was really starting to wear on me. I also noticed that I was the only one she was taking the tone with. So I started paying more attention to see what the situation was trying to teach me. It finally hit me.
I’ve been working with my self-talk for years. I thought I was being pretty nice to myself. Yet, here I was. I had done something that wasn’t the best idea for me. Ok, I don’t usually regret things but I was not happy with myself. And that’s when I noticed it. There was part of me in there just complaining nonstop!! Going on and on about how badly I had screwed up. Blah, blah, blah….Complaining up a storm!
So I started paying more attention to my inner talk again and sure enough, when things didn’t go my way, part of me was chronically complaining about it. Things would flow along good as long as things were going my way but when something didn’t go my way, there it was! Blah, blah, blah……
The coolest part is that once you shine a light on these things, oftentimes they just drop away. Both internally and externally. Awareness is amazing! And sometimes they take repeated focus to shift things.
Start listening to the things you are telling others this week. Pay particular attention to the things that get repeated. Then pay attention to your own internal conversations and see if that message is really intended for you.
Feeling stuck? Low energy got you down? Let’s take a look at what is draining you.
Of course food is key in maintaining a healthy energy level. When we eat foods that are alive, they bear life. We feel more vital. We have more natural energy. When we eat foods that are dead (packaged), you feel bloated, sluggish and tired. I teach these tools in my Energize program.
Food is very important to maintaining optimal energy but there are other factors that are affecting your energy level too. The decisions we make (or don’t make) on a regular basis have more impact on how you feel than you realize.
1. Overwhelm – sometimes we reach those points in our lives where we don’t know what to do, where to turn and everything is so tightly held together that you don’t know what to do first so you end up doing nothing. Being stuck is a huge energy drain. It feels like everything is piling up on you and many times it is. The problem is, you lack the energy to do anything about it. You feel stuck so the pile grows bigger and bigger and your willingness to do anything about it decreases. Now, your energy level and health suffer big time. You would be AMAZED at what I’ve seen clear up for people physically when they start cleaning up their lives.
2. Fear – Fear is the silent killer. Fear quietly strangles the life and energy right out of you. Fear is like an enchantress. It captivates your attention and robs you of your precious energy. The more you focus on your fear, the more it drains you. It keeps you from moving forward which eventually creates overwhelm as discussed above. Fear causes you to contract which keeps you cut off from your Source energy. Contraction = Energy Blockages (physically, emotionally and spiritually). Blockages can play out in many different ways in your life.
3. Indecision – is a HUGE energy drain! When you put off making important decisions, it quite literally drains you. Your life is trying to flow along like a river. When you come to a crossroad, it’s important to decide so you can keep flowing. Otherwise, you exert lots of energy to resist the flow. Imagine how much energy it takes to hold back a dam. That’s essentially what you are doing when you hang out in indecision. It takes an incredible amount of energy to carry around multiple things. Sometimes you just have to choose so you can keep moving.
There are more but these are the three most common energy drains that I help my clients resolve. And as you can see they are all closely related to one another. You can see how hanging out in fear or indecision can quickly lead to overwhelm. It’s very important to get into the habit of staying in the flow of your life.
But what happens when you’ve been clinging to the side for so long and you’re terrified to let go? What if you’ve created a whole pool of stagnation trying to avoid the flow of river? After all, the river can be turbulent at times.
The answer is TRUST! You HAVE TO TRUST! You have to trust yourself! Trust God (your Higher Power) and trust the flow that is your life! You may have had a reason at one point in your life to close down and to stop trusting but you can learn to open again. Trusting doesn’t mean that nothing “bad” will ever happen again (things you don’t like). It means trusting that your life does have meaning and that it is unfolding exactly as it needs to to move you further along your healing path.
It’s trusting that you can handle it. You have more resources now. You will know what to do when the river bends, when you reach those turbulent waters. You can learn to navigate them. You can do this!
Holding on, contracting, blocking the flow - keeps us in the dark. The truth is – there is unlimited abundance available to each and every one of us. But we have to be brave enough, committed enough and clear enough to open back up so we can receive it. We have to be willing to expand our view. We have to step out in faith and learn to trust again.

I don’t know about you but it has taken me a LONG time to really understand boundaries. I certainly wasn’t taught healthy boundaries as a child. I was in the 90s group of Codependents. I remember reading books about boundaries and trying to understand all of the guidelines. So….if I was in this situation then respond this way, in that situation act this other way. It was really quite complex and heady to me. Especially since I’m an empath.
I have always been able to feel what is going on in situations. I feel what people are feeling. If someone is upset, I sense it right away. If someone is anxious, I feel that emotion. It took me years to sort this out! It took me years to determine which thoughts and emotions were mine and which ones belonged to other people. For years I was flying blind.
My daughter has taught me a great deal about boundaries! She has definitely taught me the importance of establishing good boundaries. Kids will push every boundary you have and if you aren’t clear on where your boundaries are, you better get clear real fast or you will have a mess on your hands.
This is how I came up with the material for my Transform class. I literally got pushed past my limits! Between being a single mom with a storefront, a 2 year old child (at the time), a sick father that died, chronic gut problems - I was tapped out. I had pushed myself past my energetic limits, big time.
Before this point in my life, I thought I had endless energy. Then before I knew it, I had myself in the biggest tangle of my whole life. I had created more than I could handle. I was tapped out.
Boundaries saved my life! Quite literally. I had to start setting some boundaries and fast. My life depended on it.
I started viewing my energy level like my bank account. I knew that I had to seal any leaks, meaning that I had to see where I was spending my energy unnecessarily. Were there certain tasks I could eliminate or get someone else to do?
Did I really need to set up at a booth at all of those events, just because I was invited. Was I saying yes where I needed to say no? You get the idea. This process allowed me to get more energy back in my pocket.
Then I began finding ways to ground my energy. I realized my energy had been scattered. I was too outwardly focused. I started finding ways to pull my energy back into MY life, MY family and MY body.
Now that I was present, I saw that I needed to strengthen my boundaries. It was time to get clear about what was important in my life and to commit myself to those things through the choices I made on a daily basis. I created a boundary around what I wanted to grow in my life and said no to the rest.
At this point, I was no longer in crisis mode. I had recouped lots of energy and my levels were balancing out. Now it was time to focus on things that would bring me more energy again! I had the clarity, strength and focus to spend more time doing what fed me, what gave me joy and more energy.
Now, I no longer take my energy for granted. I realize that I have to make decisions every day to stay in alignment with what I want to nurture and create more of in my life. And that doesn't always make me popular. I have to say no more. I have to linger less. I have to trust and believe in my own guidance and path even when others don't understand.
I love teaching others how to recoup their energy, create healthy boundaries, streamline their focus and start tapping into their heart space so they can start creating their life on their own terms! Someone asked me what I meant when I said that my practice was to remain open when I felt myself wanting to close. They wanted to know what that actually looks like. The best way to describe what I’m talking about is through an example.
I will use an example of the heart. If deep down you believe that you are unlovable or unworthy of love, you will actually push away love when it does present itself to you. You will not be able to recognize it because you will unconsciously search for evidence to support your belief that you are unlovable. That’s how our minds work! Our mind is like a computer that seek evidence to support our beliefs. Period.
So if someone comes into your life and expresses interest, you will start looking for subtle things to prove that “see the person doesn’t love me”. I knew it. This is how it always ends. You will unconsciously sabotage the relationship to support your belief.
The way out of this is awareness! Start paying attention to your tendency to draw conclusions about what things mean. When you are in conversations with people, how often are you really listening to what is being said and how often are you listening through your filters of what you “think” is being said based on your belief?
The truth is, you can’t really hear when you are listening through your filters. You will only hear what you want to hear, what is consistent with your belief and often times it’s not accurate or clear.
So when I say to remain open, what I mean is to notice yourself telling these stories, drawing these conclusions and instead of shutting down and saying “see, this is what is true” – remain open to the possibility of a different outcome. Remain open to the possibility that the person could mean something else. Remain open to possibility in general.
This is how you drop your story. This is how you shift your belief. You become willing for it to show up in a different way. You don’t have to figure it out, you don’t have to struggle. You only have to be aware of when you are doing it and make a choice to remain open to a different outcome.
Otherwise, you will keep creating the same scenarios over and over and over again. Wondering why you. Believing that this is your cold hard reality that you are victim to, the way life is. When the truth is you are creating it.
Isn’t that freeing?? You hold the keys to shifting any situation in your life! And the key is #1 becoming aware of what you’re doing #2 remaining open to it being different this time.
In the beginning you may still create the same scenario a few times but if you remain open each time this shows up, you will eventually create a new flow and will see changes and before long, you will be experiencing a totally different reality that before looked impossible. Give it a try!
For the next few days. Start paying attention to the stories you tell yourself and others about “the way things are”. When situations arise, what are you telling yourself to be true about the situation? What type of conclusions do you draw about things that happen in your life?

It amazes me at how often we get in our own way and/or over complicate things. I keep being called to share my message on a regular basis. It shows up over and over again. I'm getting constant confirmation that I need to be writing, teaching, sharing in some way. I get excited about this. My head swims with ideas. I send a few messages, create a few videos then blam....I fall flat. I go into my head and start over thinking things and things stop flowing. I end up talking about things that are important to me but are not as close to my heart as I'd like to share. I feel further away.
How many of you know what I'm talking about? When we are in the flow of our lives, we are on fire, we feel the sun on our face, things are clicking into place. We reach a certain point of happiness and connection then bam. We allow doubt or indecision to steal our sun.
Things certainly look different in the shadows. It's interesting to me how quickly our shift of focus can cast shadows and how seductive our old story is!
When you are moving your gaze from your old story to a new one, there's a little struggle that takes place. This happens whether this story be with your food, your relationships, your business, your beliefs about "how it is".
When you decide to drop the story and start creating a new one, you now have two things competing for your attention. You know that what you give your attention to grows but dammit that old story has been playing for a long time and the outside world is still reflecting it....it's so believable and so easy to look back and believe the old story to be true.
But the truth is that it is just a story. It's all just a story. So you rub your eyes, seek clarity of vision and focus back on the story that you hold true in your heart. The more you focus on this heartfelt truth, the more it becomes your reality.
The outside world tells you that you're crazy. This could never work. You need to do what everyone else is doing. These things have been proven. What you are saying is just a dream. Dreams don't come true. Face reality.
But you believe! You keep drawing your focus back to this idea, to this feeling that you know to be true! Over time you begin seeing this little glimmer that is your dream growing momentum, building strength, it starts poking its head through the ground. Wait a minute! It is real! You weren't delusional after all! You are creating it! It's happening!
This is my job! I see people! I am a believer! I help people hold and create their vision. I have created many visions. I love creating out of the box. I show people how to bring these flickers into full flowing reality.
Every day, we gain momentum!!
